šReview:
Once again, Katie Bailey has created a hilarious, beautiful romance and I canāt š© The Neighbor War is the sequel to The Roommate Situation and has a connected storyline which I loved! Iām this book we follow Aiden and Courtney. Although we follow the same world and story, this book is so different from The Roommate Situation. The Neighbor War is much funnier and an enemies to lovers story, while The Roommate Situation was a friends to lovers story. In this story, Courtney is Aidens next door neighbor. Ever since Aiden moved in, Courtney hated him for reasons she wouldnāt say. They have an adorable, insult-based banter and I couldnāt love it more š I loved how the author was able to build on these two characters from the first book and make it into a totally new story. These two characters personalities balanced each other out so well and it was amazing to see on paper! Aiden is a flirtatious, arrogant guy and Courtney takes none of it and itās hilarious. I also think that their insult banter is an interesting tool the author uses to bring depth to Courtneyās (and all women) character. Courtney puts on this strong mask and a confident air to seem like the person she wants to be. While she is really a self-conscious, shy woman who is so scared or heartbreak that she wonāt even consider trying. When she realized that Aiden makes her want to try is the most fulfilling thing ever and itās so beautiful š©š I honestly canāt decide which book out of this series I like best!
