My Thoughts 💭
I’m going to be honest here… THIS IS THE BEST FRICKIN BOOK I HAVE EVER READ IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! I can’t even form coherent thoughts but I’ll try to put them into pros and cons to help haha.
Pros👍
I could honestly say everything was a pro! But some things while I was in the middle did piss me off, iykyk, but it all came full circle for such an amazing, emotional read at the end!
• The characters: CoHo gave each character such depth! I felt like I cared about everybody!
• representation for abusive situations: how she handled it in the book omg! For me it brought light to what those really look like and I am so grateful!
• the plot: this was such an easy read because of the way Hoover wrote it! It was so easy to fly through and even though it was a lightish romance she has so many plot points of excitement to keep the reader on their toes!
Cons👎
• a character in particular 💀 but I also think this is a pro because Hoover gave us, what I think, to be an accurate presentation of an abusive relationship
• the marketing: I think this should probably be more of a “life experience” book, that’s not a genre but whatevs haha. I think it was said to be a lil bit to romance, it was in the first half, but when the real plot and message came through it was really all about how people and those relationships can pull you out of any dark place.
🪴Overall I absolutely adored this book with all my heart! When I tell you this is now my all-time fave book, it’s true!😆Hope y’all give this book a read and have an awesome day!💕
